Love this chair but after an emergency c section I couldn’t put the leg rest down myself for a good week or so, had to get my family members to let me out of chair jail. Wish you could still rock the chair while in the reclined position but other than that it’s excellent!

After a C-section, even the simplest everyday movements can be a little more tricky in those early days, so we’re very glad you had family nearby to assist with the great escape! And to be fair… there are definitely worse places to be stuck for a little while! 😂
As for rocking while reclined, that little lock is actually there by design. Once the footrest is up, the chair stays securely in position rather than continuing to rock, keeping everyone safe, stable and supported.
We’re SO happy you’re loving your chair, and we hope it’s been home to plenty of cosy cuddles, feeds and very well-earned Mum rests already!
Reviewing after using for 6 months. Was a gift from my Mum, for my first baby. Super comfy, but as mentioned in other reviews, it's hard to push the footrest back in - it is stiff and noisy so disrupts my baby. The chair also takes up a fair bit of space - especially when reclined back and footrest out. It's been hard to make it work in our nursery, so something to consider. It has started to creak a bit so isn't super strong - don't feel like the quality is there for the price. If I had my time again I would preferred a bit of a smaller chair, with better longevity for the price, and where the reclining footrest that is easy & quiet to close.

Our recliners are completely manual (no electrics hiding in there!), so the footrest does need to be pushed down to click securely back into place. But it shouldn’t need a big heavy shove, our little trick is - heels up, feet together and a gentle, controlled push down, that soft-close technique should help keep those precious silent nights… silent!
And yes… she’s definitely not a petite little chair! Our chairs are intentionally big, beautiful, soft, fluffy, supportive and wonderfully LUSH, made for those long feeds, cuddles and hopefully the occasional nap for you too! We have our seated and reclined dimensions online and intentionally being on the larger side, it does mean they need a little more room, particularly when fully reclined, so it’s definitely something to consider for smaller nursery spaces.
The creaking you’ve mentioned is something we’d love to look into though, as we want you to feel supported and comfortable in your chair for many more cuddles to come. 💜 Please reach out to our team with a video, so we can see what’s happening and help where we can.

First impressions are fantastic! I absolutely love how soft and cosy the fabric is, and the chair itself is the perfect size. It's compact enough to fit beautifully in my little reading corner without taking over the space, but still roomy and comfortable enough to properly snuggle into with a book for hours.
When the chair arrived, it was incredibly easy to unpack and put together. It comes in just 2 pieces, requires no tools, and the instructions were simple and easy to follow.
I had quite a bit of contact with the customer service team before making my purchase, and every interaction was excellent. Everyone i spoke with was friendly, quick to respond and genuinely helpful.
When choosing my throne, i was torn between the two pink fabrics options, so being able to order free fabric swatches was such a great touch. They arrived really quickly and made the decision easy, as soon as i felt the Blush fabric, i knew that was the one! its so soft, fluffy and cosy in person. 💖
I'm looking forward to spending many evenings curled up in my new chair, happily devouring my books in my cosy little reading corner. 📖✨
Although, within minutes of setting it up, my dog was very quick to claim the prime spot... so i fear she may end up spending more time in my new reading throne than i do! 😂🐶💕

Love that it rocks, swivels and reclines, easy to purchase and delivery was prompt, however, as soon as in recline position no rocking at all, very difficult to push footrest back in and the chair sits forwards too much, as a new mum and freshly postpartum it isn’t user friendly for sore core muscles or an exhausted pelvic floor.

Takes too much force to recline flat and to latch leg rest in its collapsed position
Thanks so much for sharing your feedback, Every manual recliner has its own little rhythm and we promise that ours is easy to manoeuvre. Rather than trying to kick the footrest closed, simply lift your legs slightly, rest your ankles on the footrest, and gently push down until it clicks back into place. It's a much smoother motion (and much kinder on your legs, too!).
Once you get the hang of it, it quickly becomes second nature 💛
I absolutely love my Fluff Daddy chair! I was torn between the blush and sage colours, so I even used AI to visualise both in my space. I also asked one of my book Facebook groups to vote, and the majority preferred the sage. I’m so glad I chose it because it ties in beautifully with the rest of my home. As an indoor plant collector, the green complements my space perfectly. It’s also a practical choice with a dog and a toddler, both of whom seem to think it’s their reading chair too!
I chose the Fluff Daddy over the Fluff Mummy because it suited my space better, and I didn’t need the recliner handle. The fabric is incredibly soft, and it genuinely feels like you’re lying on a cloud.
The customer service was fantastic as well. Communication through Instagram was friendly and helpful, all my questions were answered, and the fabric samples were sent out promptly. Delivery was also very fast, and the chair arrived well packaged.
Overall, I’m a very happy customer and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a comfortable, quality reading chair.

Love love love the chair! The plush-ness of it is amazing, it is sturdy and the colour is simply lovely. The reclining feature is intuitive and the ability to lay back all the way is great - but for a tall person (I am 182cm), the back/headrest is probably 10cm too short to make it feel like my neck isn’t hyperextending.
That being said, beautiful chair and would recommend others get it!

For anyone a little taller, it's worth mentioning that our Mumma model (rocking and recline) does have a backrest that's approximately 10cm higher, which can offer a little extra head and neck support. The Daddy, on the other hand, is all about that sleek design and effortless lay-flat recline, so we're thrilled it's still ticking so many boxes for you and thank you again for your recommendation, it truly means so much to us!

I’m in love! It’s so soft and comfy, I love the arm cushions, as it almost feels like an embrace lol. I kept dithering over both styles, as I wasn’t sure if I wanted rocking or not and manual VS lever recline. In the end I chose fluff daddy for the full recline and most evenings do a Joey & chandler happy groan recline in it haha!
I went with sage as it fits in with my green theme. Easy to assemble, took all of 30 seconds to attach the back. Ordered matching pouches, one came with no zipper to attach to the cushion part, but I only use one as I have a side table on the left.
Delivery wise:
The width of the box couldn’t fit through my front door but I simply cut the little cardboard pallet attached off and boom. I ordered on the Monday morning and received it in Victoria on Wednesday morning, so great turnaround. Only downside to the whole delivery was the bloke rolled it up on a manual pallet jack and dropped it close to my porch, but not undercover. He watched me lug it up myself and I get it’s not his job, but he made my list that day for giving zero care to helping.
I do wonder if I’d been out if he’d left it exposed, because it rained about 20 mins later. Again, not his problem right but when we now have to pay for shipping and it cost $144 from SA to VIC, it does leave a bit of a sour taste. That aside, great chair and fantastic to sink into every evening!
This absolutely made our day! We could practically hear the full Joey & Chandler 'ahhhhh' recline groan from here, and we're so happy the Fluff Daddy has become your evening happy place!
Now... guess what? Great news! Your pouch isn't broken! The one without the little zipper thingy is actually designed to go on the side of the chair that does have the little zippy thingy. They work together as a pair. If you have any trouble fitting it, just sing out and we'll happily walk you through it.
We do want to say that we are sorry the delivery experience wasn't quite as cosy as the chair itself. We'd definitely have preferred your Fluff Daddy to arrive tucked safely under cover! We really appreciate you sharing that feedback.

After using my cousins Fluff Daddy and her having it over a year with good reviews, I was excited to purchase the 'upgraded' Fluff Mumma version as my cousin mentioned she would prefer a higher back. Initially was happy with the chair although after a few weeks using with a newborn, found some flaws with usage. The leg rest was so heavy to put down/close I actually hurt my abdomen postpartum doing this and getting out of the chair something to consider for new Mums. The back rest recline is extremely hard to push back and doesn't stay in position unless I am actively engaging my core to hold it there. Finally, the most disappointing part is the backrest condition. It has sunken and flattened making the chair not very comfortable. This happened very early on within the first month of use and after emailing the team questioning all of these things, was told it is normal and due to the safety of the rocking feature they had to make the backrest sink in however I don't think it is good enough quality for $1000.
Overall the chair is comfy enough and good to rock with a baby but not worth the money. It is clear now it is cheaply made and seems clunky with the foot rest and back rest. Wonder if everyone's back looks this bad and saggy after a few months of use or I just recieved a dud? Either way the company said it was 'normal'.
I would expect better quality and not to look like this after few months of use after spending $1000. Things to consider.

One thing worth noting is that you're comparing two different chair designs. As mentioned, your friend has the Fluff Daddy design, which has a lower back profile, whereas you have the Fluff Mumma that was specifically developed in response to customer requests for a higher backrest and additional head support. With the higher-back design, the back cushion can't simply be 'overstuffed' as this would push the user too far forward and compromise both comfort and functionality.
We have appreciated the opportunity to chat with you throughout our email conversations and felt that we provided guidance around chair care, maintenance, and what to expect as the cushioning settles. As discussed, some softening and contouring of the backrest is normal as the chair moulds to the user, particularly in a chair designed for long periods of feeding and comfort. Like any soft, plush couch cushion, the backrest can also benefit from occasional fluffing to help maintain its shape. The cushion is designed to be easily unclipped and removed, allowing the filling to be redistributed and refreshed as needed.
We also understood your concerns around the recline and footrest. As with any nursery rocker or recliner, comfort and ease of use can vary greatly depending on where you are in your postpartum recovery journey. What feels manageable at one stage of healing may feel very different during those early weeks after birth.
While we stand behind the design and quality of the Fluff Mumma, we completely understand that every body, home, and experience is different. We also offer a 30-day change-of-mind policy, which was available during the initial trial period should the chair not have felt like the right fit.

Couldn’t be happier with my experience at Fluff Daddy today. I bought a recliner and the whole process was bloody excellent from start to finish.
The team were great to deal with – friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in helping me find the right chair for my 8 month pregnant partner. Communication was spot on and everything was organised without any hassles.
I picked the recliner up from their warehouse and even that was easy. The staff were welcoming, had everything ready to go, and helped get me sorted in no time.
