The sea colour is absolutely beautiful and the chair is so comfortable. The only issue so far is it seems hard to get the chair to stay in full recline position , it seems to want to sit me up but perhaps it just needs to stretch a bit?

Now, about that reclining… our Fluff Mumma has a sweet little locked-in feet-up position (because those feet deserve a holiday too!), but when it comes to leaning right back, that's all up to you and finding your own comfy sweet spot! The backrest is designed to move with you, so you can recline and support yourself wherever feels just right.

The chair is comfortable and has good width but the seat depth is weird. It's quite shallow and doesn't feel overly comfortable, posture wise. The leg rest is incredibly short. It sits at the top of my calves instead of the ankles or mid calf region. The recline is terrible. It doesn't stay in position when you push back and keeps springing back into the sitting position if I stop applying constant pressure. It's a nice enough chair but there's a lot left to be desired considering the price.

We haven’t had this feedback around the seat depth or leg rest before, but we completely appreciate that comfort is so subjective and every body is different. We have all of the chair dimensions available online to help with finding the right fit before purchasing, and
whilst we may be a little biased when we call it the fluffiest chair ever, we do offer a change-of-mind option if the fit or feel isn’t quite right.
Just to touch on the recline, the Mumma design is made with a rocking function, so it isn’t intended to lock into every position as you lean back. The first locked recline position is really the sweet spot of this chair, giving you that lovely laid-back, cosy feel while still keeping you supported.

I find the chair comfortable and easy to recline, however visually the chair appears to be lopsided. We have removed the backrest and replaced it (as per the online instructions) without very much difference. It would be helpful to know why this is happening.
UPDATE-06/10 Thank you for your response to my review, I feel the chair has settled in and I am not aware of any difference in its positioning as was first noticed. I have to say I have never sat in a more comfortable chair ever…I have fallen asleep in it a few times now so it seems my retirement is now complete. 😁 Thank you again for checking in with me, I appreciate your after sale service.

We absolutely love our Fluff Daddy. It’s become one of the most used spots in our house and somehow always ends up with one of the kids curled up on it with me.
It’s incredibly comfortable and supportive, but still looks really nice in our living room and doesn’t feel like a big bulky recliner. Being heavily pregnant, I’ve loved having somewhere I can properly put my feet up and relax, and I already know it’s going to get so much use once baby arrives for feeding, cuddles and contact naps.
It’s one of those pieces that actually works for everyday family life without compromising on how your space looks. We’re really happy with it.

Couldn’t ask for better customer service when purchasing but I am slightly disappointed in the comfort of the chair. I thought I would sit in it and it feel like the best thing ever but it’s quite straight in the back and when you recline it, I feel like I’m having to use my core to keep it there which is not what I expected at all. The material is absolutely stunning, super soft and comfortable. Definitely not worth the full priced $1000 tho. I’m glad I was able to get it on a sale.
We're so glad our customer service team was as fab as ever throughout the ordering process! We're saddened to hear the Fluff isn't as cosy as you had hoped; however, comfort is definitely a subjective thing, so we understand it isn't for absolutely everyone.
The natural angle of the backrest is specifically designed to provide posture support when sitting in the chair, especially for long durations with bubs!
Regarding the recline of the Fluff Mumma, for safety purposes it doesn't 'click' back into recline or lock all the way flat. It reclines to the first 'feet up sweet spot,' and from there, it is guided by your body and what feels comfortable when gently engaging your core.

Love this chair but after an emergency c section I couldn’t put the leg rest down myself for a good week or so, had to get my family members to let me out of chair jail. Wish you could still rock the chair while in the reclined position but other than that it’s excellent!

After a C-section, even the simplest everyday movements can be a little more tricky in those early days, so we’re very glad you had family nearby to assist with the great escape! And to be fair… there are definitely worse places to be stuck for a little while! 😂
As for rocking while reclined, that little lock is actually there by design. Once the footrest is up, the chair stays securely in position rather than continuing to rock, keeping everyone safe, stable and supported.
We’re SO happy you’re loving your chair, and we hope it’s been home to plenty of cosy cuddles, feeds and very well-earned Mum rests already!
Reviewing after using for 6 months. Was a gift from my Mum, for my first baby. Super comfy, but as mentioned in other reviews, it's hard to push the footrest back in - it is stiff and noisy so disrupts my baby. The chair also takes up a fair bit of space - especially when reclined back and footrest out. It's been hard to make it work in our nursery, so something to consider. It has started to creak a bit so isn't super strong - don't feel like the quality is there for the price. If I had my time again I would preferred a bit of a smaller chair, with better longevity for the price, and where the reclining footrest that is easy & quiet to close.
Hi Amanda, what a beautiful gift from your Mum 🤍 We love that your chair has been part of those precious first six months with your little one, and really appreciate you sharing your experience with us after giving it a good run!
Our recliners are completely manual (no electrics hiding in there!), so the footrest does need to be pushed down to click securely back into place. But it shouldn’t need a big heavy shove, our little trick is - heels up, feet together and a gentle, controlled push down, that soft-close technique should help keep those precious silent nights… silent!
And yes… she’s definitely not a petite little chair! Our chairs are intentionally big, beautiful, soft, fluffy, supportive and wonderfully LUSH, made for those long feeds, cuddles and hopefully the occasional nap for you too! We have our seated and reclined dimensions online and intentionally being on the larger side, it does mean they need a little more room, particularly when fully reclined, so it’s definitely something to consider for smaller nursery spaces.
The creaking you’ve mentioned is something we’d love to look into though, as we want you to feel supported and comfortable in your chair for many more cuddles to come. 💜 Please reach out to our team with a video, so we can see what’s happening and help where we can.

First impressions are fantastic! I absolutely love how soft and cosy the fabric is, and the chair itself is the perfect size. It's compact enough to fit beautifully in my little reading corner without taking over the space, but still roomy and comfortable enough to properly snuggle into with a book for hours.
When the chair arrived, it was incredibly easy to unpack and put together. It comes in just 2 pieces, requires no tools, and the instructions were simple and easy to follow.
I had quite a bit of contact with the customer service team before making my purchase, and every interaction was excellent. Everyone i spoke with was friendly, quick to respond and genuinely helpful.
When choosing my throne, i was torn between the two pink fabrics options, so being able to order free fabric swatches was such a great touch. They arrived really quickly and made the decision easy, as soon as i felt the Blush fabric, i knew that was the one! its so soft, fluffy and cosy in person. 💖
I'm looking forward to spending many evenings curled up in my new chair, happily devouring my books in my cosy little reading corner. 📖✨
Although, within minutes of setting it up, my dog was very quick to claim the prime spot... so i fear she may end up spending more time in my new reading throne than i do! 😂🐶💕

Love that it rocks, swivels and reclines, easy to purchase and delivery was prompt, however, as soon as in recline position no rocking at all, very difficult to push footrest back in and the chair sits forwards too much, as a new mum and freshly postpartum it isn’t user friendly for sore core muscles or an exhausted pelvic floor.
